Introduction to Create 10.9

This document describes the installation process and pre-requisites of the Create 10.9 Add-in for Microsoft 365 Copilot (“Microsoft 365”).

Create 10.9 is an evolution of the Create product and includes:

Decoupled software and brand asset management

Create 10.9 retrieves assets from the cloud via a lazy loading method – as a user accesses features in Create the appropriate assets are retrieved securely using SSL and placed in a local asset cache on their machine.

IT can specify the location of the asset cache on installation of Create. If this is not specified it will default to the path My Documents\Create.

Installation and update improvements

Create 10.9 is installed using an MSI package only.

Refinements to MSI packaging and option to enable auto-update will make installations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance more seamless.

Authentication improvements

Newer more secure authentication process.

Option to use enhanced security with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Expanded colour palette functionality

The colour palette has been enhanced to support up to four colour sets and instructional text to enable more intuitive use in line with brand guidelines.

Multi-language user interface

Users can now switch the application interface between different languages, making the platform more accessible for global teams.

IT can set the language used for the UI on installation.
