Create is programmed to replace the default template with the Create template on start up of PowerPoint.
If the default template is not opening when PowerPoint loads, then there could be a few reasons:
- The user’s Create licence has not yet been registered on the computer. If the user has not completed the registration dialog they can prompt registration by clicking on any button on the Create ribbon.
- There is a background process of PowerPoint running. Close all MS Office programs including PowerPoint and open Windows Task Manager. If PowerPoint is listed under Background Processes, then right-click and End task. When you reopen PowerPoint the Create template should display.
- The computer has another competing default template installed which is preventing the Create template from loading – please contact your internal IT.
