Modified on Thu, 24 Sep at 10:46 AM

What is Create?

Create V10 is a software add-in for PowerPoint, Word and Excel that helps your company produce and manage branding in their day-to-day documentation and presentations.

Is there training available once I have installed V10 for my region?

There are a number of resources available such as User Guides/QRGs, FAQs and video tutorials. We also offer live online training sessions.

What language is the User Interface?

The User Interface is only available in English; however, your templates can be in any language. If your company already has documents in another language, we can upload these into Create for you. For any new foreign language translation requirements, please email us at support@presentationsolutions.co.uk.

Can I use the Create software if I am working “in the Cloud”?

Create software is only available using the desktop application of Office 365 and not the Office 365 Web Apps. Create is installed on the user’s local pc and any updates available in the cloud are synchronised to the user’s local pc and stored there.

How do I make sure I am using the latest templates?

Any new versions of your templates will be available immediately to all users to download, in all Cloud-enabled installations.

If you have installed the non-Cloud version, PS will deliver updated installation files and simple instructions on how to update.

How do I add my own templates?

Please email support@presentationsolutions.co.uk with your request and we will get back to you.

Where the client also has their own local versions of templates, an author/s can be nominated and will be given permissions to edit their own assets; users of Create are able to download or view these assets into documents.

Assets can be marked as updateable, and when a document containing updateable content is opened; Create checks if a new version of any updateable assets are available.

How do I make a change to my Office location information*?

Within Create, on certain documents and presentations, there are fields which automatically populate your relevant office location, disclaimers and contact information. This information is controlled centrally. If you have any changes you will need to email support@presentationsolutions.co.uk.

*Location information includes office address, contact and company information, short and long form legal disclaimers together with default settings, such as paper size and date format.
