Occasionally a user will see the error message below when attempting to upload Create:
Unable to load application settings. Could not find a part of the path ‘C:\Users\[User]\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Corporation\Microsoft Office [Version]\[Full Office Version Number]\Create\Brands’. An error log entry has been created at [User]\My Documents\Create Error Logs\CreateLog.xml
This means something has interrupted Create's installation process and has corrupted some files.
The instructions below should fix that error for you.
To Solve this issue
1. Open a navigation window
2. Go to This PC or Computer Windows (C:)
3. Select Users
4. Select your name from the list of users
5. If you can’t see the next folder level, you’ll need to View Hidden Items (see screenshot below) within the navigation menu at the top

6. Select AppData/Local/Apps/2.0
7. Rename 2.0 to OLD2.0
8. Close and reopen PowerPoint and Excel
When you reopen you should see that Create will upload the add-in as it should (by recreating a new default 2.0 folder in the background)
Create should now download the application and you will get a notification message once it is done.
