PowerPoint - Text Library

Modified on Thu, 24 Sep at 10:44 AM

Use the tools in the Format group on the Create ribbon, rather than native PowerPoint to apply formatting to text and other content in the presentation.

______

This optional function stores frequently used text. Create can store up to 300 text library entries and they can be stored in folders. Each text library entry can contain up to 20,000 characters. They can be built-in to the Create software or uploaded by authors.

Select Text Library on the Create ribbon.

The Text task pane opens at the Text Library panel, showing all available Text Library entries (if available).

  • Click on a folder to view its text library entries.
  • Place your cursor in a shape or placeholder where you wish to insert the text library entry.
  • Select any entry to insert it on to your slide.
  • For more information, see Article: Uploading Text.
